CATHERINE WAMBUI NJUGUNA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of the will of God, that we announce the passing on of Catherine Wambui Njuguna on 7th October 2020 at Nairobi Hospital after a short illness.

Beloved daughter of the late Benedictus Kang’ethua and late Leah Wangui, wife of the late Japhet Njuguna, sister of Grace Wanjiku Munyugi, Jimnah Maina, James Kiringu, late Margret Wamu and Sophy Njoki. Mother of the late Ben Gikonyo and Eunice Gikonyo, the late Brian Njigua and Charity Jessy Njigua, Gerald Ihura end Hannah Ihura, Purity Gaku and Dr Joseph Gaku, Edward Mboche and Rachael Mbothe, John Mwangi, the late Grace Wanjiku, Daniel Kimunya and Mary Kimunya and the late Annlizer Njoki. Grandmother of Joy Wambui and many others and great grandmother of many.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Thika Road Branch, opposite Shell Kabati on Thursday, 5th October 2020 at 8 a.m for the funeral service at ACK St Paul’s Church Mihuti, Kangema from 11a.m followed by burial at her home in Mihuti village.
