CATHERINE WANJIKU WAIREGI

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we sadly announce the demise of our beloved Catherine Wanjiku Wairegi who passed away on 18th October 2021 after an illness bravely borne. She was the Chief Principal of Kyondoni Girls’ High School, Kitui County.

She is survived by her husband Wilfred Wairegi. Loving mother to Yvonne Wairegi and Stacy Wairegi. She was daughter of the late Titus Kaara Difatha and the late Jane Michere Kaara.

Sister to Difatha Muriuki, the late Gladwell Wanja, the late Gichuki Kaara, Lemmy Thiaka Kaara, Charles Njeru, Eric Mwendia, Lawrence Gitari, Carol Wangui, Bilha Wakuthii, the late Antony Karani, and the late Clive Ndogo.

She was beloved aunty to many.

Friends and family will meet atAll Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Thursday 21st October 2021 and St. Thomas ACK Cathedral, Kerugoya from 5p.m.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi Hospital on Saturday 23rd October 2021 at 7.30am for funeral and burial service at her husband’s farm near Engineer Town, in Nyandarua County.
