CECILIA MUTHONI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Cecilia Muthoni on Monday 2/11/2020 at KU Teaching and Referral Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She hails from Kuiri Village Igoji Subcounty, Meru County.

Wife to Paul Gitari (Kamani), daughter to late Felix Mwarania and Evangeline Kirigo, mother to Fridah, Winfred, Nelly, Nanis and Loyford. Daughter- in law to Mario Gitonga and Celemina Kanini. Sister to Karimi, Kaburu, Mugure, Kirai, Kiende, Kirimi and Ntinyari. Sister-in-law to Cirindi, Muthoni, Kawira, Gatiria, late Murungi, Gaceri, Muriungi, Mungai, Silas, Mbaabu, Humprey, Kellen, Eunice, Elizabeth and others. Mother in law to Obok. Grandmother to Tatiana, Travis, Lian and Simona. She was a beloved aunt to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 4.30pm Nairobi -Cardinal Otungn Plaza (Holy Family Basilica) and Kuiri home, lgoji.

The cortege leaves KU Teaching and Referral Hospital Funeral Home at 6am Tuesday 10/11/2020. Requiern mass will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church Igoji at 11.00am followed by burial at their home, Kuiri village Igoji Subcounty.

We loved you Cecilia but God loved you most, Rest in Peace
