CHARLES GACHERU KARANGI

It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Charles Gacheru Karangi which occurred on 20th November 2020.

Son of the late Zakayo Karangi Robi, the late Beatrice Nyakinyua Karangi and Margrate Wanjiku Karangi. Beloved husband of Leah Nyambura Gacheru. Father of Beatrice Nyakinyua, Esther Wangechi, Zakayo Karangi, Alice Njeri, Margret Wanjiku, Lucy Nyawira, Annah Gathoni and Jackson Warui. Brother of Robi Karangi, RTD General Waweru Karangi, Kariuki Karangi, Njeri Karangi, Wambui Nuthu, Robi Karangi, Mwangi Karangi, Maina Karangi, Theru Karangi, Wangui Atancha and Muthoni Karangi. Brother in law of Gatuku Robi, Njeri Waweru, Wambui Kariuki, Wambui Robi, Wanjiku Mwangi and Wairimu Maina. Father in law of Waichuhi Mathengo, Maina Wariahe, Wambui Wandeto, Kabiru Kinyua, Chege Muchugu, Muiruri Gichini, the late Aziz Onyuka and Wanjiku Mbiu. Grandfather of many and great grandfather of one.

Friends and relatives are meeting dairy at his rural home at Kamatongu village, Mweiga location, Nyeri County.

The cortege leaves Nyeri funeral home (Outspan) on 1st/12/ 2020 for the funeral service at P.C.E.A church Kamatongu and thereafter burial ceremony at his home at Kamatongu village.
