It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Christine Chepkoech Keter – Chege of Safaricom PLC on 30th January, 2022 while undergoing treatment in New Delhi – India,

Christine leaves behind her husband Stephen Chege Njiru and daughter Audrey Mbeti Chege. She is the 5th born child of Joseph Kiptoo Arap Keter Punja and Mary Njeri Keter. Sister to Lydia Cherotich & Ken Kurgat, Gladys Chepkemboi Keter, Christopher Kiptanui Too, Florence Chelagat Keter, Joyce Cheruto & Eric Swaleh, Esther Chepleting & Raphael Kaguri, and Chelimo & joram Njoroge.

Daughter-in-love to Marclus Njiru Kaguongo, Beatrice Mbeti Njiru and the late Rachel Kabui Njiru. Sister-in-love to Dedan Muriuki & RhodahWagakidames Mithamo, Elizabeth Muthoni & Nahason Muriithi, Mary Wanja & John Miano, Dawson Njeru &Agnes Mukuhi, Jean Mutitu & Mwaniki Gichohi, Annalisa Wangui, Rose Wangu & Bernard Muya, Edwin Muriuki &Anne Kabugo (USA), Peter Mugo (USA), and John Nguu & Loise Wamaitha.

Aunt to Nick & Judy (USA), Late Wambui, Njoki (USA), Joan & Chege, Wangithi & Peter, Miano, Soni, Janet & Nicholas, Jacob, Wambui, Kinyua,Wawira & Macharia, Brian, Cynthia, Megan, Ian, Arden, Stephanie, Alex, Samantha, Ethan, Michelle Chebet Kurgat, Jazziel Kipkorir Yego, Jewel Joy Ojode, Ann Yvette Chebet Too, Kyan Mshuza Swaleh, Nia Rahila Swaleh, Adriel Githiomi Kaguri, Zuriel Keter Kaguri, Katriel Nyangaru Kaguri, and Achamin Kibigo Njoroge.

Family and Friends are holding daily online meetings (Zoom) and there will be a physical meeting at the All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday, 8th February, 2022 from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

A Memorial Service will be held in Nairobi at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, 10th February 2022 at 12.00 p.m.

Burial will be at the family home in Difathas, KIrinyaga County on Friday, 11th February, 2022. The cortege departs from Lee Funeral home at 7.30 a.m. for the funeral service at ACK Church of Good Samaritan Difathas at 10.00 a.m.
