Our beloved Christine was former Chief Officer Trade & Industrialisation, Bungoma County Government and was on secondment to the Lake Region Economic Block (LREB) as the Director, Gender & Youth.

Cherished daughter to the late Joash Wafula Wasike and Mama Bilha Nekesa Wafula (formerly KARI Kitale).

Ex-wife to George Kombo, Chief Officer Lands & Physical Planning, Bungoma County Government.

Loving mother to Sellah Naswa Kombo (Bungoma County Government) and Allan Okomba Kombo (Businessman Lugulu).

Loving sister to Sylvia Nakhumicha (Mukuyuni School), Norah Nambuye Simiyu (Lugulu), Douglas Wasike (KISE), Hellen Wasike (KenTrade), Dan Wasike (KMTC, Webuye) & Sellah Wasike (Saudi Arabia).

She was niece to Abiud Wasike (former commissioner IEBC), Walter Soita (former Deputy PC), Rispa Chilungu (Kamtiong), Peter Wanjala (Kamusinga), Rosemary Nafuna, Rose Soita (Commissioner BCPSB), Alice Wanyama, Leah Wamalwa, Mary Laleyo, Rebecca Khaemba, Phyllis Khaemba, Mary Kundu (Kamasielo Village), Jackline Wekesa (Birunda) & Joseph Wanyonyi (Namboani).

Cousin to Rose Wasike, Arnold Wasike, Paul Soita, Isabellah Soita, Joash Kisino, Roy Wanyama, Jack Laleyo, Silas Khaemba, Wanjala Kuloba, Edward Samita, Norah Nambuye, the Maundendes, the Nalwas, the Mwalakhas, the Namarus, the Neyoles & the Chesotis.

Mother-in-law to Martin Mabonga and Dinah Amakove.

Aunt to Neddy, IFaith, Amon, Abby (Austria), Ashley, Jayden, Davie, Willy, Loice, Joyce Nakhanu, Prof. Mable Neyole amongst others. Doting grandmother to Milan, Eden, Israel & Maximilian.

Fueral arrangements are ongoing and burial will be on Saturday, 23rd January 2021 at her Lugulu home in Webuye, Bungoma County.
