CLEMENT OWINO NYABWA (JESUS)

Sunday, 25th December 1949 – Friday, 19th May, 2023

Named “Jesus” because of his date of birth, our dear father, grand father, brother, uncle, and friend, Clement Owino Nyabwa departed this world on Friday, May 19th, 2023 while under going treatment for pancreatic cancer in India.

He will be remembered as a bubbly, witty, trainer and management consultant and mentor who traversed the corporate sector in the region striving to develop careers of many. He was an unassuming social person who belonged everywhere and was accepted and appreciated as a thought leader in many communities.

Clement was the loving son of the late Pastor Thadayo Nyabwa (a pioneer Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kenya) and the late Mama Dothia Mwai of Karachuonyo, Kamser, Lieta.

He was the loving husband to the late Rhoda Owino and Agnes Owino. Father to Linda Owino, Bena Owino (Sweden), Curfew Owino (USA), Nova Owino, Larry Owino, Clement Owino and Rhoda Owino. Grand Father to Nnamdi Ibekwe (USA).

Clement was brother to Hellena Ochola, George Oduya, Mika Mitoko, Ruth Indah, Seth Obado (all deceased) Nereah Oloo, Sammy Nyabwa and Grace Millicent Ogolla. He was an uncle and a friend to many spread in all corners of the world.

There will be a memorial service at Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell) on Tuesday, 6th June 2023 starting at 11.30 am.

He will be buried on Thursday, 8th June, 2023 at his home in Karachuonyo, Kamser, Lieta (Kibugu Village) in Homabay county starting at 8.00 am. Your prayers and good will gestures are greatly appreciated.
