With humility and celebration of a virtuous life well lived, we announce the passing on of Mzee Cleofas Joseph Okoko on July 20, 2021 after a brief illness.

He was the loving husband of the late Felista Okoko, doting father of Alfred, the late Dr. Leonard, Lucy, the late Bashir (Vincent), Steve, Alice, Rosemary, Chris, Cyril and Mike. Son of the late Ohaga and the late Awuor. Step son to the late Agnes. He was a father-in-law of Rhoda, Lena, Pauline, the late Ayodo,Warda, Seth, the late Joab, Irene and Penny. Grandfather and Great Grandfather to many. Brother to Anyango and Muhando. Brother-in-law of the late Olalo, Selina, the late Ndiga, Onyona, Dr. Okere, Mboss, Prof. Okere, the late Betty, Pascal, Patty and the late Maurice. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.

He was a former Deputy Director of CID (Directorate of Criminal Investigations), a Deputy Commissioner of Police and later an expert in Financial Services security.

Burial will take place on Saturday July 24, 2021 at his home in Kayombi, Ugunja in Siaya County.
