It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of. God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Crispus Khamala Otido which occurred in Kakamega on Thursday, October 29, 2020 after prolonged illness.

Husband to Grace Nasiche Khamala. Son of the late Benjamin Otido and the late Erna Naututu (Chekata). Son in law to the late Saulo Muya and the late Marita Meta (Mutsuma). Father to Margaret, the late Erick, Evelyne, the late Khalisia, Allan, Caroline, Oscar, Maureen, Emma, Bernard and Elvis. Father-in-law to Henry Momanyi. Grandfather to Vivianne, Celine, Moses, Yvonne, the late Elsie, Wayne, Chelsea, Michelle, Clarence, Leon, Ariane, Jayden and Jordanna among others.

Brother to the late Juma, the late Saina, Jennifer, the late Mulongo, the late Sisa, the late Sifuna, Sofia Nawire, the late Wegulo, the late Ngani, the late Wafula, the late Nawova, the late Judith Nawire, Nasimuyu, the late Mkopi, Sievanda, the late Were, Sabina, the late Wawire and the late Musa. Brother in law to the late Charles Wasitia, Ben Waswa, Elijah Muya, the late Shem Muya and many others. Nephew to Siande among others. Uncle, cousin, friend, mentor and great grandfather to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Millmani Estate, Kakamega from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kakamega Funeral Parlour in Kakamega on November 6, 2020, for prayers at his residence in Milimani Estate. Thereafter, the cortege will proceed to Chekata village, Navakholo sub county, Kakamega County on the same day where Mzee Crispus will be laid to rest on November 7, 2020.

A fundraiser to offset funeral expenses has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020, 2pm at Mice’s Milimani residence in Kakamega.
