CYRUS KIBUTHU MUTURI

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Cyrus Kibuthu Muturi.

Son of the late Chief Muturi wa Gaita and Joyce Wangari Muturi. Beloved husband of Beatrice Wairimu Muturi. Loving father of Jacob & Elizabeth Maina, the sate Ben Muturi, and Eric & Ory Mwangi. Grandfather of Emmy, Nashe, Gabriella, Nia and Olivia.

Brother of Purity and Godfrey Kinyori,the late Johnson Mwangi, and the late Joachim and Lilian Gichuki. Step-brother to many. In-law of the late Herbert and the late Joyce Kanina, the late Stephen and the late Irene Kanyonyo, the late Richard and the late Isabella Chege, Hiram and Jennifer Mbatia, the late Major (Rtd) Stanley and late Muthoni Maina, Amos and Esther Kimani, the late Bedan and Grelis Kamau, the late Brigadier (Rtd) and Mary Macharia, the late Gidraph and Margaret Nyoro and SJ and Janet Njoroge. Beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Way at 9:00 am on Friday 15th October 2021 for a service at 11:00am at the International Christian Centre in Nairobi (off Mombasa Road). The burial will be held thereafter at Lang’ata Cemetery.
