Arap Chesoo of Kaposta Farm – Kaptagat Village announces the passing onto glory of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Daisy Chemweno Chesoo, which occurred on 16/04/2023.

Adored daughter to the late Snr. Chief Chemweno Chebor and the late Rhoda Teriki, Salome Sokomo, Rhoda Kimoi, Eunice Tuiyoi and Susan Teriki.

Beloved wife to Alphonse Arap Chesoo. A loving mother to Solomon Kiplimo, Caroline Chepchirchir, Diana Jepchumba, George Kipkemboi, Pauline Jepkorir and Karen Jerop. Doting grandmother to Darlene Jepkoech, Oprah Chemutai, Bryan Kiplimo, Osteen Oremo, Lawi Kosgei, Crystal Atieno, Blessing Achieng and Jacktone Onyango.

Sibling to Jane Wafula, Margaret Kosgei, Susan Cheserek, Julius Chemweno, William, Pauline, Vincent, Pamela, Rebecca, Elly, Emmy, Daniel, Esther, Benjamin, Lily, Kenneth and many more. She was predeceased by her beloved siblings; John Kiptala, Irene Tuikong and Prisca Chelimo.

Caring daughter-in-law to the late Chesoo Chemjor, Kimoi Chesoo and Kabon Chesoo. Sister-in-law to Scola, Mary, Alfred, Moris, John, Philister, Josephine, Francesca, Sivilina, Nancy, Benjamin, Anna, Ronald, Gilbert, Lily, Rhoda and Elly, among others.

Affectionate aunt to Robert,Timothy,Albert, Hillary, Judith, Isaac, Joan, Caroline, Faith, J. Kendagor, among more.

Endearing mother-in-law to Emma Birir, John Oremo Samwel Rono and Chrispin Ochieng.

Fondly remembered by her cousin John and Joseph Kendagor, among others.

She will be missed and fondly remembered by her friends, church mates and neighbors as a prayer warrior and devoted Christian.

The cortege will depart from Eldoret Hospital Morgue on 23/04/2023 at 12:00pm for a requiem mass at KapChesoo home in Kaptagat and thereafter a celebration of her life and funeral service shall be held on 24/04/2023 at Kaptagat Farm Stay Grounds at 9:00am and she will later be laid at rest in her home at KapChesoo, Kaposta farm in Kaptagat Village.

Revelation 20:6 — ‘Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection.The second death has no power over them, but they will be priest of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years: Fare thee well Mama.
