DAKTARI DAVID MAKORI ORARE

It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Daktari David Makori Orare which occurred on Sunday 22nd November, 2020 at Oasis Hospital, Kisii. Until his demise he was a senior clinical Ophthalmologist at KTRH.

Son of the late Barnabas Orare and Clemensia Kemunto. Dear husband of Janet Kemunto (KTRH). Loving father of Kwamboka, Nyandika and Nyaboke. Brother of Dr. Peter Nyandika (USA), Elizabeth , John, Ronald, Evans, Calister, Alfred, and the late Teresa and Jane. Son in-law of Evans Omagwa and Eucabeth Bosibori. Nephew of the late Okeyo, Ochwangi Mogusu and the late Kemoni, Ontita, chief Zakaria Angweyi, the late Nyantika, Matabori and Nyamokami.

Cousin of Martin, Zakayo, Catherine, Osoro’s, Francis, Joseph, Mogoba (MOE), Hitra, Mbuya’s, Ochwangi’s, Nyangaresi, Nyamongo, Abel, Hassan, William Former PS, Gichana Mayaka, Mogabo (KNUT) and former chief the late Kirera. Brother in-law of Kwamboka, Gladys, Justus, Hyline, Obare, Christine, Grace, Nyaberi, Akunga, Oyaro, the late Agwata, Fred, Isaac and Timothy. Uncle of Jimmy, Judy’s, Stella, Clinton, Victor, Kandy, Kelvin, Job, Gyneshias, Abuga, Bonareri and Carol.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home, Mariiba Village, Nyakoe Kisii County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves KTRH funeral home on Thursday 3rd Dec, 2020 at 2pm. The funeral service and burial will be held at his home in Mariiba village, Nyakoe, Kisii on Friday 4th Dec 2020.
