It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. David Gitonga Thuranira, Isiolo Businessman, which occurred on 18/10/2020.

Son to the late Mr and Mrs Thuranira Agoromo Kang’weri and son-in-law to the late Mr and Mrs Timothy M’Ringera. Loving husband to Jericah Gacheri Gitonga and father to Fred Maitethia Gitonga of PKF kenya and Brenda Karimi Gitonga of Eco bank. Brother to the late Francis Thuranira of KRA, the late Ndubi Thuranira of Indo Tana Ltd, the late Munene Thuranira, the late Daniel Mbaabu Thuranira, Rose Thuranira of Meru, Lady Justice Beatrice Thuranira and the late Laban Muthinja Thuranira of MidCity Group Ltd.

Brother-in-law to Julia, Philip, Kaaria, Mbaabu, Margaret, Kinanu, Mateo, Kathambi and Kagwiria. Cousin to Mworia Kirima of Rangelands Hotels among others. Uncle to Mwendwa, Preston, Kaka, Alex, Bundi, Kaumbuthu, Joselyn, Muthomi, Mwirigi, Mwenda Thuranira (Myspace Properties), Kathambi, Mutethia, Kinya, Gitobu, Maalim, Kananu, Reja, Jaden, Koome, Mwiti, Muguna among others.

Burial is on Saturday 24/10/2020 at his Gikumene home, Meru County at 11am.
