Death and Funeral announcement of David Muthini Wambua, former Deputy Provincial Education Officer, Central province,

We regret to announce the promotion to glory of David Muthini Wambua. He is a former education officer who served in various capacities across the country. He retired as Deputy Provincial Education Officer, Central province.

He is survived by his wife Agnes Kasendi Muthini. His sons: Charles Muthini (HSC) – Permanent Presidential Music Commission, Peter Muthini Lukenya Academy, the late Willy Mutunga„ Benjamin Muthini (Ikombe), Nickson Nzioki and Mike Wambua. His daughters: Maryanne Kakonzi retired District Tac-tutor larger Machakos District and Rachael Mutisya. Brother to Alice Kamendi, the late Hon. Gideon Wambua (Mwala constituency), Nelson Musau formerly of Kenya Railways, the late John Mutiso Wambua, Rev. Jim T. Wambua (Nairobi Baptist Church) and former Technical Director. Supreme Council of Sports Africa, Tabitha Mukosi and the late Danson Kioko, former Director Word of Life Kenya.

Uncle to among others: Ruth Mutile – formerly of Kenya Bureau of Standards and wife of former PS Mule, Sammy Kithokoi, Wambua Musau (USA), Mathew Muthini, Dir. Governor’s Office Illinois USA and Rodgers Sila. Grandfather to Rev. David Mutuku (International Christian Centre), Rachael Mutuku, Maryanne Mutuku (Shalom Hospital), Charles Mutuku and Psc Benjamin Mutuku (AIC Kijabe Hospital), David Muindi (Raw Valley E.A), Derrick Muindi (NIC Bank). Faith Muindi, Faith Mutunga, Maryanne Mutunga, David Muthini Jnr KCA University, Charles Muthini Jnr, Favour Muthini, the late Wanza Kimeu, Kasendi Kimeu, Kakonzi Kimeu, Mutio Kimeu, Nduku Kimeu,Victor Mutisya. Flora Mutisya, David Mutisya, Queen Mutisya, Marianne Nzioki, Moses Nzioki and James Mwangangt.

Meetings take place daily from Monday 17th at the old Tea Tot Hotel Machakos 6 00pm. In Nairobi Wednesday at Musmark – Hatheru Road Lavington 6pm. and on Thursday 5.30 pm Gate No. 17 Milimani Road Opposite Sagret Hotel; and daily at his home in Vyulya-Machakos.

The burial service will take place at AIC Kangondi grounds on Saturday 22nd February 2020. His body will be laid to rest at his Uuni residence, Kaki Village same day.
