It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Davies Nyambu Mwalandi formerly of Kenya Medical Research Institute (Kemri) on I 6/9/2021.

Son to Mzee George Mwalandi and Josephine Washala Mwalandi. Beloved husband to Victoria Kina Nyambu. Father to George Nyambu, Elijah Kovo, Julia Nyambu, Dawson Nyambu and Josephine Washala. Siblings to the late Dawson K Mwalandi, late Boniface Mwambogha, Hope Mchome, Everlyn Mwachandi, Crispus Jumaajane, Dinance, Philistia and Sabina.

Brother-in-law to Hannah Mwalandi, Getrude Wawuda, Grace Mwaipala, and Pamela Mwambogha, Pastor Mchome, Phillip Kisaka and Edward Mwamburi.

Uncle to George Mwalandi (Inchcape Shipping Services- Msa), Grace Mwalandi (CGH,) Peter Mwalandi (West Africa-Mali), Phillip Mwakoi, Samuel George, Herman Mwalandi, John, Benard, George Mwambogha, Allan Nyange, Seriana, Dawson, Jonah, Josephine, James Mwandoe, Bidan Mchome, Sylvia Josephine, Fanuel Mwachandi, Josephine, Selina, George Juma, Mwaita, Winnie Waipala, Josephine Mwaipala, Sarah, Hope, Joan, Hope, Mary, Verity, Josephine Mwamburi and Mandi among others. Father-in-law to Brodric, Betty Sau Mwazala, Sylvia Ndeleko and many others;

Grandfather to Daniela, Blessing Kimoto, Noah Mwazala and many others.

The cortege leaves Moi Hospital in Voi on Friday the 24thSeptember 2021 for an overnight stay at his home in Mrabenyi Village, Mwatate Constituency.

Burial will take place on Saturday the 25th September 2021 at his home as from 10:00am.
