DOMINIC MARTIN ODIPO

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dominic Martin Odipo after a long illness on the 11th September 2021.

Son of the late Mwalimu Calesto Joseph Odipo and Mama Saraphina Apondi Odipo. Brother of Mary Mulaku, Antonina Mulamula, Robert Odipo, Francis Odipo, Scholastica Nanjira, Victor Odipo, Kenneth Odipo, Boniface Odipo, Janestella Akumu, Selina Nanjala and Josephat Odipo. Husband of Doreen Odipo and father ofTolanta Odipo, Rose Odipo, Kennedy Odipo, Alex Odipo, Mathew Odipo, Brenda Odipo, Douglas Odipo and Roger Odipo.

Brother in-law of Caroline Apondi Odipo, Caroline Khayanga Odipo, lrine Odipo, Judy Andayi Odipo, Everline Odipo, MaryAsumpta Odipo, Prof. Galcano Mulaku, Arthur Kwena, Kizito Kwena and others. Cousin of Stanslous Otsieno, Chris Kubasu, John Mulaa, Fred Ochanda, Consolata Obora, Belinda Barasa and many others. Uncle of Desterio Oyatsi, Vincent Owondo, Jacinta Mulaku, the late Lilian Khayesi,Veronica Ondunga, Bilha Apondi, Conrad Omondi, Mark Odipo, David Odipo, Bill Kinyosi, Sara Warren Odipo among others.

The body is lying at the Montezuma funeral home. There will be a virtual Harambee on Wednesday the 22nd September beginning 08.00pm and a requiem mass at the St. Paul’s University Chapel on 23rd September 2021 beginning 10.00am.

The cortege leaves the Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 24th at 6am to his final resting place in Esibembe Village, Butula Sub-County, Busia County on 25th September 2021.
