We regret to announce the untimely death of Mrs. Edna Anyango Opondo daughter of the late Mr. Charles Opondo Omira and Mrs. Beldina Opondo of Gem Kambare, Siaya County.

Loving wife of Mr. Caleb Odhiambo Oguya (formerly of Agro Chemical and Food Company Limited). Daughter-in-law of the late Mr. Washington Oguya Ogwang’, the late Rebecca Ajumbo and Pamela Akeyo, all of Kano, Kolwa Central. Mother of Susan Kutalek (Amazon, USA), Elsa Oguya (Code El’ Communications), Jane Oguya (Mabati Rolling Mills) and James Oguya (Jumo World). Mother-in-law of David Kutalek (Hover LLC), Ronald Olande (FIT property) and Isaiah Amwata (Anchor PTY). Sister of Moses & Caroline (Muhoroni Sugar), Jane Olage (formerly of VSO), Silas & Lillian (Ndiru school), Joseph & Lillian (Agro Chemical), Caren Waga, Ken & Beth (Ovidiun Custom), Mark & Caro and the late Grace Opondo.

Sister in law of Eng. Nashon Oguya (Pioneer Chair of Kisumu County Public Service Board), Dr. Francis Oguya, George Ndege, Bob Odaa, Joshua Arodi, Prof. James Jowi, Emmanuel Were, Elder Edward Nyakiti, Michael Olage (Min. of Agriculture Kituyi), Dr. Ochieng, Dr. Obala, Akello Misori (Sec. Gen. KUPPET), Risper Atieno, Florence Jabuya, Jemima Ogwang’, Vivienne Oguya, Salome Oyler, Elizabeth Ndege, Julia Odaa, Roselyn Ogwang, Perez Ongoro, Jacinta Juma, Leah Asoro, Siporah Asoro, Dr. Christine Jowi and Chistine Nyakiti.

There will be a funds drive on Sunday, 15/03/2020 at the Family’s Mtwala Home in Muhoroni from 2pm and on Monday, 16/03/2020 at Nairobi Central SDA church opposite Integrity Centre from 6pm.

A memorial church service will be held on Wednesday 18th March 2020 at AIC Milimani from 10am.The cortege will pass through Kolwa Central, Nyalunya, on Thursday 19th March 2020 for a short service and viewing while enroute to Muhoroni.

Burial will take place on Friday 20th March 2020, at the Family home in Muhoroni, Kisumu County.
