ELDER JOACHIM KAMAU MIGICHI

1940 — 2nd February, 2022

The family of Elder Joachim Kamau Migichi is saddened to announce his untimely demise which occurred on 2nd February, 2022 in Nakuru.

He hails frorn Wanyororo “B” farm in Bahati-Nakuru and has been a member and leader of Wanyororo SDA Church. Elder Kamau was son of the late Migichi Githinji and the late Miriam Wairimu Migichi. Son-in-law to the late Francis Maina Kieru and the late Lucia Kahaki Maina.

He was the loving husband to Mary Wangeci Kamau with whom they were blessed with 11 children: Maina & Wanjiku; Wairimu; Mwihaki & Kimani; Njoki & Mureithi; the late Wanjiru & Muya; Migichi & Kagendo;Wangari & Mugo; Githinji & Mugure; Kieru &Wanjiku; Muthoni & Kamiti; and Kuria & Nyambura. He was father and uncle to many and several grand and great grandchildren in his lineage.

The late Elder Kamau was the lastborn child in a family of five siblings: the late Josephine Njoki Mungai, the late Paul Kuria Migichi, the late David Githinji Migichi and the late Wangari Migichi.

Daily prayers and preparations for the burial are taking place in his residence in Wanyororo “B.

The cortege will leave Nakuru War Memorial Mortuary on Thursday, 10th February, 2022 at 8:30am for a funeral service in his Wanyororo “B” farm followed by burial ceremony the same day.
