It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we celebrate the life of Elder Joyce Gathoni Mutel,Who was promoted to Glory on Monday 24th January 2022.

She was a loving daughter to the late Harun Loiman and the late Loise Nyaiko. Beloved wife to the late Ezekiel Mutel. Cherished mother to Keziah Nkini Wanjau, Mary Sanaipei Kamau, Francis Mokare Mutel, Naomi Naisesoi, Obadiah Saringen Mutel (OBI) and Rachael Nataai.

Sister to the late Benjamin Tipape, the late Elder Gladys Mutii, the late Noadiah Soila Pulei, the late Joshua Roimen, Zilipha Naisoi Rosha and the late Jemmimah Naeku. Mother-in-law to the late Godfrey Wanjau (Mombasa), Peter Kamau Waithaka (Ongata Rongai), Joseph Masikonde (Narok), the late Damaris Saringen, Josephine Polong. Sister-in-law to Jedidah Wangari Roimen.

Daughter-in-law to the late Mesira Lenande Kotaiye. Grandmother to Michael, Katoiye, Dorothy (UK), Philip, Leonard, Nelly, Joyce, Gideon, Perez, Timothy, Martin, Meikain, Seema, Lato, Micah, Samuel, Dorothy, Meneto and Emmanuel. Great-great-grandmother to many.

She is a matriarch celebrated and loved by her family and friends.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Matasia (Barabara Mpya), for funeral arrangement and prayers from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home at 9.00am on Tuesday 1st February, 2022. Funeral service will be held at PCEA Enoomatasiani Church from 10.00am. Thereafter burial at her homestead at Matasia, Barabara Mpya.
