PCEA Tumaini Kirk session is humbled to announce the passing on of our dear Mum, sister, grandmother and Elder Susan Wanjiru Mburu (Director Green Edgewood Academy, Formerly Josu Academy) on Sunday 19th September 2021 at MP Shah Hospital.

Treasured daughter of the Late Ngigi Kibuba and the late Njeri Ngigi. Sister to Tabitha Nyambura and John Njoroge Ngigi. Loving wife to the late Dr. John Mburu Njoroge formerly of Coffee Research Ruiru. Doting Mother to Elizabeth Waceke Mburu, Harriet Njeri Njeru and Amos Njeru Kirimo, Grace Wangui Mburu, Late Leen Nyambura Mburu and Late Sarah Mugoiri. Loving grandma to Clara, Laura, Lawan, Gianna, ZeekJohns and Maya. Auntie, Cousin, Elder, Dedicated Teacher and Loyal friend to many.

Church, Family and Friends are meeting daily at PCEA Tumaini Mwihoko from 6:30pm.

There will be a Prayer Service on Thursday 23rd September 2021 at Green Edgewood Academy formerly Josu Academy from 11.00am and thereafter a Memorial Service at PCEA Tumaini Mwihoko from 4.30pm.

The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral Home bypass on Friday 24th September 2021 at 7.00am. The funeral service will be conducted at PCEA Kirenga Lari and later burial at her home at Kongothiria village, Kiambu County.

Mum, has fought a good fight, she has maintained the course to the end and finished the race, above all, she kept the faith. We thank God for mum’s unfiltered kindness and commitment. We have been very fortunate to have a mum like Susan. The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment will ever touch them.
