ELIJAH KIMAKU

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr Elijah Kimaku who was born in 1945, to the late Paul Kimaku Ndegwa and Rakeri Wanjeri Kimaku at Roi Farm Gachakai Kiganjo Sub Location, Gatundi Sub-county in Kiambu County.

He was a brother to the late Ruth Mumbi Makumi, the late Joel Ngugi and the late Beatrice Nyambura Willy, John Mbothu, Stanley Wainaina and Florence wanjiru. He has left behind his loving wife Jane Nyambura Karu. He was father to Dr. Andrew Kimaku (Kansas USA), Timothy Mwangi, George Ngugi, Rachel Mwaura and Gladys Maluki. He was father-in-law to Dr Emily Kimaku (Kansas USA), Julie Mwangi, Martin Mwaura and Musee Maki Elijah Kimaku was a grandfather to Micheal Kimaku, Mathew Kimaku, Neema Kimaku, Gabrielle Mwangi, joy Mwangi, Samara Ngugi,Alyssa Mwaura,Adesa Mwaura, Graham Mwaura, Flavian Maluki and Faizah Maluki.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at his home in Muthaiga North.

There will be a Memorial service at PCEA Evergreen Parish Church Runda on Sunday March 7th, at 2.00pm. The cortege will leave Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home at KU Referral and Teaching Hospital on Wednesday 10th March, at 8.00am, for funeral service at Kiganjo Polytechnic and burial thereafter at his farm in Kahuho, Kiganjo Sub-location, Gatundu Sub-county, in Kiambu County, on the same day.
