ELIJAH NIMITIS MULI

It is with profound sorrow, and the acceptable of the Will of God, that we together with the family announce the untimely death of Mr. Elijah Nimitis Kipsoi Muli, which occurred on Saturday, 18th December 2021, after a short illness.

Elijah had distinguished himself through an impressive career in the humanitarian field, spanning almost two decades. Until his death, Mull was the Head of Disaster Management at the Kenya Red Cross. Society. Mull joined the Kenya Red Cross in 2009 as a Disaster Management Officer and rose through the ranks to Head the Department in 2019. During his time as HoD Muli has diligently led the response to some of the worst natural disasters over the last two years including the desert locust Invasion, the floods of 2019/2020, the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing drought. Muli has also served in other roles Including as chair of the Kenya Red Cross Staff Sacco (KENRED) a position he was still holding.

He is the beloved husband of Grace Mueni, and a dedicated father to Cherie’ Neema and Jason Muli. Son of the late Joseph Muli Kitise and Mama Jane Chepkurui Muli, brother to Florence Mwikali, Philip Kitise, Rev Patrick Marindany, Helen Muli and Timothy Muli. Cousin, Nephew, Uncle and Friend to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma-Monalisa Funeral Home, Mbagathi Way, Nairobi In the morning of Thursday, 23rd December 2021 for a funeral service and burial at his firm in Maliii, Konza, Makueni County.
