ELIZABETH NJERI KARIUKI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Kariuki family announce the promotion to Glory of our mother and a great matriarch Elizabeth Njeri Kariuki who passed away peacefully on the 12th August 2020. She hailed from Kiandu Village,Tetu, Nyeri County.

Loving wife of the late Douglas Kariuki Kigenyi. Co-wife of Martha Ntue Kariuki. Loving Mother of Esther Wachuka and late Elius Kibicho, Elijah Ndiritu (Elikon) and Alice Wangechi, Late James Gathigi and Veronica Muthoni, Mary Wambui (formerly Safeways), Samuel Kingori (E/Ravine) and Mary Wanjiru, John Karoki (Makutano) and Nancy Wangui, Titus Muchiri (Thika)and Ruth Wangui, Zachary Wanjohi (Formerly KQ) and Joyce Wanjiku, Margaret Wagaki (Agriculture Nyeri County) and Patrick Gitahi. Sister of the late John Karoki, Mirriam Nyakihu, Henry Gituku, Late Esther Wanjiru and the late Margaret Nyaruai. Step Mother of Wanjiru, Nyawira, Njoki, Late Wagaki, Gathoni and Kahinyu. She was blessed with 39 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Consolata Hospital Mathari tomorrow, Tuesday 18th August 2020 at 08:00am. Burial and Funeral Service will be held at her home in Makutano, Kiandu Village, Tetu sub-county, Nyeri County from 11am.
