Son of Kimulany arap Rono (Kapkongeluk), the late Grace and the late Esther Rono of Ainabkoi.. He is son-in-law of Augustine and Cecilia Metto of Mogoon, Lessos.

Brother of Ezekiel, Absalom, Miriam, the late Zipporah, the late Hellen, Tirop, the late Sally, Joseph, the late Jepkesio, Jane, Lilian, the late Florence,Titus, Silas & Hildah & brother in-law of Eric, Cosmas, Patrick, Margaret, Geoffrey, Felix & Flaurine..

The cortege will leave Racecourse Funeral Home, Eldoret on Thursday, 8th October 2020 at 10a.m for a requiem service at ACK All Saints Church, Nandi Hills and thereafter to his home for over night stay. The funeral service will take place at KTGA Secondary School, Taito on Friday 9th October 2020 starting at 9am. The funeral shall take place within strict Covid- 19 guidelines
