ENG. JACOB KIMATHI MUTUNGI

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce promotion to glory of our beloved Eng. Jacob Kimathi Mutungi formerly of UNDP and Ministry of Agriculture, which occurred at Avenue hospital Nairobi on 30th August 2020. He hailed from Gakurine village Kithoka location, Imenti North sub county.

Son of the late Mr Japhet M’mutungi and Late Sarah Mwariumwe. Husband of Winfred Kagendo Kimathi (Dept of Agric. Meru County). Father of Lewis Mutuma (Ministry of Interior and Cord. of National Gov), Juliet Mukami (Digital Marketing) and Armstrong Koome (KCA University Nairobi). Grandfather of Alexia Kinya. Brother of John Gichuru, Jennifer Munyange, Loise Gauku, Peter Mwiti, Joseph Kathurima (Kamiti Primary), Phyllis Nkanachi (Dept of Agric. Meru), Doris Makandi (surgipharm Ltd Nbi). Son-in-law of the late Felix Imaita and Evangiline Imaita of Karugwa Githongo. Brother-in-law of Isaiah Imaita, late Susan Kathure, Benson Mwendadacob Ngusari, Pastor Robert Guantai, Stella John, Monica Mwiti, Alice Kathurima, and Joseph Guantai (Karangare Sec school). He was a cousin, uncle, and friend to many.

Burial arrangements are going on daily at his home Gakurine Village, Kithoka Location new Ruiri Junction.

Eng. Kimathi will be laid to rest on Friday 4th September 2020 at his home in Gakurine Village Kithoka.
