ENG. PHELIX AGUREY OSONGO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Eng. Phelix Agurey Osongo on 16th September 2021 while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

He was son to the late Mzee John Osongo Mambo Omwaga and Mama Hannah Aringo Osongo. Loving husband to Pamela Owuor Osongo. Father to Sharon Amondi Osongo, Steve Bradley Osongo (UoN), Mitchel Akoth Osongo (Nova Pioneer), Jeff Willand Agurey Osongo (Aga Khan Primary) and Kayler Annelle Osongo (Aga Khan primary). Grandfather to King Kigen.

Brother to James Rege, Roseline Mboya, Dorine Okuku, late Mary Abuoro and the lates: Paul Odhiambo and Ben Okeyo. Son in-law to the late Mzee Aloice Owuor Aloo and Mama Benadeta Owuor. Brother in-law to Dancun Mboya, the late Joe Okuku, late Charles Owuor, Samson Owuor, Edwin Owuor, John Omburo, late Roseline Odhiambo, Jeniffer Odhiambo, Caroline Rege, Quinter Rege, Rachael Okeyo, Joyce Omburo, Grace Galia, Damaris Owuor, Nancy Kisera and Beatrice Ojwang, Everline Oreny among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home In Uzima, Kanyakwar-Kisumu, rural home in Karachuonyo-Kanyaluo and others virtually.

A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday 29th September 2021 at Newlife SDA church, Nairobi from 10 am.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home on 30th September 2021. Burial will be conducted at his Home in Kanyaluo, Rabware school, Homa Bay county on 1st October 2021.
