ENG. ROSALIA LUMONYA SOITA MASINDE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Eng. Rosalia Lumonya Soita Masinde, who until her death, was the Chief Officer for Water and Natural Resources, County Government of Bungoma.

Daughter of the late Jason Soita and late Mama Florentine Nasila.A lovely wife of Dr. Stephen Masinde, founder and Chief Executive of Nzola Medical Centre and Group of Hospitals. Mother of Adrian Lusaka (Friends School Kamusinga), Hillary (Booker Academy), Kelly (Christ the King – Bungoma), Leone and Baby Anyesi. Co-wife of Salome Lunyolo. Step-mum of Juliet (Daystar University, Linda (Moi University), Carron (Kenyatta University), Rebecca (Mount Kenya University), Terry, Viola and Emmanuel.

Sister of George (Nyamira County), Dinah, John, James (EPK Nandi), Marla (Teremi High School), Jane (St. Paul’s, Igara), Marutl (TSC, West Pokot), Janet (Chebukaka High School), Ambrose (Vihiga County). Cousin to Mary Maruti (Principal Masaba High School), Peter and others. Sister-in-law of Margret, Isaac, David, Bridgit, Batista, Redempta, Wilkista, Patrick, Juliana, Bernard, Francis, Dorcas, Scola, Jentrix, Regina, Godfrey, Leonard, Everlyne, Gladys, Geofrey, Boaz, Carolyne, Triza, Hon. Reba and others. Auntie of Villy, Derric, Baraka, Anne and others.

The cortege leaves Lifecare Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 8th October, 2021, at 11.00am, for requiem mass and viewing at St. Barnabas Bukembe Parish and later to her home at Mabanga, for an overnight vigil. The burial mass will be at Mabanga FTC on Saturday, October 9th, 2021. She will later be laid to rest at her home behind Mabanga Seminary.
