ENGINEER JOHN NJAAGA

16th August, 1944 — 17th December, 2021

It is with heavy hearts and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Engineer John Njaaga (Aberdare Engineering Limited), which occurred on Friday, 17th December, 2021.

Husband to Virginia Gathoni. Father to Thomas Wango (the late), Caroline Wachuka, Agnes and Andrew Muthee, Ernest Wambari and Albert Njenga. Grandfather of Amy,Ava,Ariana,Adrian and Imani. Son of Juliano Wango (the late) and lydia Ngami (the late). Brother to Mary Wanjiku Loki (the late), Hellen Wairimu Kongo, Margaret Njeri Mbugua (the late), Baines Njenga Wango, Patrick Murage (the late), Rosemary Wambui Ndung’u (the late), Bishop Cephas Ndung’u, Naomi Wangui Kimani. A beloved uncle to many.

Family and friends shall be meeting as follows: Our Lady of The Rosary Catholic Church – Ridgeways, Kiambu Road, at 5.00pm (20th and 21st December, 2021). His childhood home at Minja, Githunguri on 20th, 2Ist and 22nd December, 2021, at 3.00pm and at his farm in Gachoire, Kagwe, at 3.00pm, on 20th, 2Ist and 22nd December, 2021.

There will be a requiem mass to be held in his honour on Wednesday 22nd December, 2021, at Our Lady of The Rosary Catholic Church – Ridgeways, Kiambu Road, at 2.00pm.

The cortege shall leave Lee Funeral Home, on 23rd December, 2021, at 9.00am, for Burial at his farm in Gachoire village, Kagwe, from 11.00am. MoH Covid 19 protocols to be observed.
