ERICK KIPRUTO YEGON

August 18, 1961- June 07, 2020

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Erick Kipruto Yegon, formerly of NIS Nairobi, which occurred on 7th June, 2020 after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Joel Tonui and the late Christine Tonui. Husband of Esther Yegon. Father of Peter Ruto (USA), Winnie Yegon (USA), Patrick Ruto (Kenya) and the late Charles Ruto. Father-in-law to Margaret Ruto (USA) and doting Grandfather to William, Patrick Jr., Winston and Briella. He was brother to the late Priscilla Sang, Sally Tsuma (USA), David Yegon (USA), Japheth Yegon, Albert Yegon, the late Eunice Tonui, Lily Bii and Wilfred Yegon. He was brother-in-law to the late Peter Sang, the late Godfrey Tsuma, the late Emmy Yegon, Agnes Yobterike-Yegon, Evaline Yegon, Vincent Bii, Hellen Yegon, Sammy Malel, Joseph Malel, Richard Malel, Jane, Anna and the late Mary. Son-in-law to the late Francis Njau and the late Recho Njau. Uncle and cousin to many.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home, Siloam Hospital, Kericho on Monday, 15/06/2020 at 12noon. Burial will take place on Tuesday, 16/06/2020 at his home Kakibei Village, Kiptere Location, Kericho County starting from 10am.

Strict adherence to all Ministry of Health and Government of Kenya directives relating to COVID-I9 will be observed.
