It is with a heavy heart and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Esther Kambura Mbogori of Ngonyi e Rwara, lmenti North, Meru County, after battling a long illness.

Daughter of the late M’Kirera M’Anana and the late Elizabeth Kanuu. Loving wife of Samson Mbogori. Mother of Jocelyn Gacheri, the late Philip Muthee, Samuel Kinyua, the late Joel Karani, Roselyn Mwari, Jeremiah Muriki and Mercy Makena. Mother in-law of the late Gibson Karuri, Faith Karimi, the late Lydia Mataria, Judy Kanana, Edwin Mugambi, Regina Kajira and Orestes Chweya.

Sister of the late Eliphelet M. Mbogori, the late Henry Mugambi, the late Zechariah K. Rukaria, John Mutwiri, the late Julius Imathiu, Elijah Karani, Veronica Muriungi, Evangeline Kathambi, Jane Kathegu and the late Francis Kabunda. Sister inwtaw of Tabitha Kamba, Magdalene Ngi’naokajogu, M’Ringera M’Irura and Joyce Mukomeru. Grandmother of Susan, Esther, Kahiro, Mbogori, Nkatha, Kiriinya, Mutethia, Karwitha, Gatwiri, Nkirote, Kanja, Mellissa, Sharon, Telvin, Mawira and Robin. Great grandmother of Chantel & Muriungi and Aunt of many.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 8th July, 2020 for her home in Ngonyi, Imenti North, Meru County. The burial service begins at 11 a.m.
