It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Esther Waithira Gitita of Waithaka Village, Dagoretti South Nairobi on Saturday 10th October 2020.

Wife to the late Ayub Gitita Chege. Daughter of Late Mr & Mrs Muigai Thiga of Banana Hill. Sister to Waithira Kiruka (Githiga), Mira Muigai (Banana Hill), Late Stanley Njenga, Late James Wamatu, Late John Kamau, Late Hannah Wanjiru, Late Wanji Muigai, and Late Njenga Muigai. Loving mother of David And Peninah Chege, Milkah Ngenia, Dr. Peter Muigai( JKUAT) and Teresa Muigai, Grace Mwaura (Kiambu County Hospital), Francis Kiarie (Supreme Polythene) and Virginia Kiarie, John and Florah Njenga (Atlanta, USA ), Emmanuel Miruru (Formerly of Welcome Trust Research Lab) and Grace Miruru, Joseph Ndung’u (Ministry of Agriculture Limuru) and Josephine Ndung’u, Paul Rundi (CPAK) and Esther Rundi, Michael Wairumbi and Grace Wairumbi. Grandmother of Margaret Nyambura Chege, Esther Waithira Ngenia, Ayub Gitita Kiarie, Gladys Wanjiku Mwaura and many others and a great grandmother of many.

Funeral arrangements are taking place at her Waithaka home daily.

The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Funeral Home on Thursday 22nd October 2020 at 8.00am and funeral service will be held at KAG Church Waithaka. Burial will there after take place on the same day at her Waithaka farm near Mukarara Primary School.
