It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Fane Moraa Mautia – Magiya a Teacher at St. Andrews Mogumo Secondary School, on 1st July, 2021, through a tragic road accident.

Wife of Vincent Magiya Akuma a Teacher at St Charles Kabeo Secondary and formerly Daraja Mbili Secondary School. Mother of Dean and Dean- Magiya (Elimu Academy). Daughter of Joseph Mautia Ogembo and Sibia Kerubo Ogernbo. Sister of Amos, Hellen, Filbert, Festus, Phoebe, Georginah, the late Emmah and the late Justus – Ogembo. In-law of Victor, Shad rack, John, Peter, and Alex Akuma.

Daughter-in-law of the late Samuel Akuma Migiro and Callen Nyaboke Akuma. Niece of Thomas Oigo, Dominic, the late Sosi, Ogecht, Mary, Eucabeth, Beatrice, Ombui, the late Prof Oseko, Grace, Agnes, Rachel, Ogorrio, Teresa and Moses. Cousin of Charles Sosi, Victor, JackIine, Violet, Rose, Lilian, Faith and Kemunto.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in lnchera nka Bochura village, near Kisii Town for burial preparations.

The main fundraising to offset the funeral expenses will be held on Wednesday 7th July, 2021, at her home.

The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on 9th July 2021 for burial on the same day at her Inchera nka- Bochura home.
