It is with a sad acceptance we announce the death of Florence Kangina Obwocha that occurred on the 8th day of December, 2020 after a short illness.

Wife of George Onsongo Mageto. A doting mother of Mark Carlos Mageto. The last born daughter of the late Jeremiah Obwocha and the late Paulina Kwamboka Obwocha of Igenaitambe village, Bigege Sub-location, Bosamaro Location, West Mugirango Constituency, Nyamira County. Sister of the late Hon. Henry Onyancha Obwocha EGH, Evans Omao, Jane Moraa Atei, Peris Nyanchama Nyaenya, Agnes Nyakerario Ogega, Charles Orango and Susan Nyaboke Nyamweya.

Daughter-in-law of Samwel Mageto and Serephine Rabera. Sister-in-law of Tabitha Onyancha, Aska Onchwari, Gladys Monyenye, Theresa, David, Charles, Julius, Pamela and Martin Mageto, George Nyaenya, Ibrahim Nyamweya, Ogega Ochari, among others. Aunt of Collins, Edwin, Charlene, Salma, Kemunto, Kerubo, Nyabuto, Mary, Gregory, Titus, Jared, Ben, Caro, Daveline, Martin, Magoma, Enock, Abigael, Moses, Victor, Jedrew, Timothy, Tom, Damaris, Philip, Lorna, Ndemo, Deily, Duncan, Ruth, Pauline, Emogory, Bob, Maureen, Remis, Kwamboka, Dr. Koisa, Venidina and Daniel, among others.

The cortege leaves Nairobi Women’s Hospital mortuary on 18th December, for burial in Suneka, Kisii County, on the same day.
