It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the untimely demise of Francis Gichuhi Kamau Maina, formerly office of Attorney General & Department of Justice, Director Safeways Kenya Ltd, Director Crown Paints (K) PLC and Director of Salimirwa traders that occurred on 6th November, 2020 at The Nairobi Hospital.

Beloved son of the late Eston Maina Kimere and Beatrice Wangari Maina. Loving husband of Lilian Wanjira Githuka Kamau (JKUAT). Beloved father of Dr. Kamau Maina, Githuka Kamau Maina (Lenana Finance), Kimere Kamau Maina (JKUAT) and Wangari Kamau Maina (UoN). Son-in-law of the late Wilfred Githuka and the late Josephine Wavuo Githuka. Brother of Josphat Kimere Maina, Victor Gitiri (USA), George Nganga (USA), Madaraka Gikuma (USA), Lucia Wambui, Mercy Mwaniki, Nancy Ikama, Irene Maina, Cathy Maina, Maingi (Fulilia Thika), F.K Maina (Milano Hotel), Lucy Muiruri, Florence Maina (Eureka), Jane Eston (Milano), B.M.Maina,Wangari Eston (Thika), among others. Uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many.

Funeral arrangements are on-going at Eureka High-Rise Hotel Nairobi at 4.00pm & Rwathia farm Nyahururu.

Memorial service to be held on Friday 13th at All Saints Cathedral from 2pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home, on Saturday 14th November, 2020 at 6.00am and burial thereafter at his farm Kio farm, Ngorika Sub-location, Mirangine Sub-county, Nyandarua County.
