It with profound sorrow that we announce thepassing on of Francis Njeru Gichuki (HSC, MBS, Former PPO Coast, Nep/Deputy Commandant GSU from Gatundia, Marmanet Nyahururu).

Son of the late Gichuki Njeru and the late Faith Muthoni. Loving husband of Mary Wangechi Njeru. Father to Shem Gichuki Njeru (DCI Headquarters), Elijah Kiruri Njeru (Nairobi), Samuel Gitonga Njeru (Nairobi) and Miriam Wanjiru Njeru (Arizona USA).

Brother to Grace Wambui Ngunjiri, Margaret Wangari Ngunjiri (Ngano Village), James Njuguna, Jackson Thimba, John Ndungu, Peter Karimi (Kihatha Village) the late Samuel Gitonga, Andrew Mwihuri and Nancy Wanjiku. He is a step brother to Anne Mukami Gichuki, David Thimba Gichuki, Purity Wanjiku Gichuki, the late Peter Kahuria, Wilson Mwihuri, Joseph Wanderi and Anastacia Wambui Gathiru.

Father-in-law to Jane Wanjiru Gichuki (Kenyatta Road), Carol Karimi Kiruri and Monica Mwende Gitonga. He was an uncle to many.

He was grandfather to Collins Njeru, Martin Gichuhi, Jazmine Wangechi, Griffin Njeru Kiruri, Ryan Mureithi, Levin Gichuki, Jeremy Njeru Gitonga, Abigail Wangechi and Adriana Nduku and many more.

Friends and relatives are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at their home in Marmanet, Gatundia Village Nyahururu.

The cortege leaves Pope Benedict Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 06/01/2022 at 7:00am for a funeral service and burial on the same day at his home in Marmanet, Gatundia Nyahururu.
