FREDRICK KINGI GATHOGO (FRED)

It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Fredrick Kingi Gathogo (Fred) on Tuesday the 6th of October 2020 at Nairobi Hospital following a short illness. Fredrick formerly worked at National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation (NWCPC). Fred was a PCEA Elder and formerly Session Clerk Kinangop Central Parish

He is survived by his Loving wife Purity Nyaruai (Nyatoro), and children Samuel Maina, Martin Ndiang’ui and Nancy Gathoni. He is father in law to Sarah Muthoni. Fredrick is the son of the Late Samuel Kingi and the Late Nancy Gathoni. Son in law to the late Ndiang’ui Munuhe and the late Jedidah Wanja. Brother to Regina Wanjiru, The late Ceasar Gathimba, Irene Njoki and The late Peterson Muturi. Grandfather to Nathan, Hope and Ivan. Brother in law to Peterson Mureithi, Faith Wambui, Charles Munuhe, Jane Muthoni, Judy Kirigo, Duncan Komu and Risper Mumbi. He was a friend uncle and cousin to many.

At Kinangop, church, family and friends are meeting at his home in Kitiri scheme while in Nairobi friends are meeting at Norwich union house every week day starting at 6pm for prayers and funeral Arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati at 7:00am, for burial at his ancestral home in Karatina Thaithi village on Thursday 15th of October at 10:00am.

You left a positive and an indelible mark in the lives of many. In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you will live forever. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the Faith. Fare thee well Dad
