It is with deep sorrow and grief, but also with gratitude and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our dear mother, Mama Gaudencia Atieno Aoko (Nyar Konjiro).

Loving wife of retired senior chief Silvanus Aoko of Kowanyo Homabay county. Daughter of the late Mr Simeon Polo and Mama Magdalene Polo of Nyakach Koguta.

Mother to Pamela, Richard, Vincent, Raphael, Christopher, Fredrick. Peter, Jane, Pennina and Octave. Co-wife to Anna and Caroiline Aoko.

Sister to Chief Tobias Polo, Jack, Joseph, Pheleria Otwo, Sipnne, Mary and the late Alpheus. Step mother to, Mark, Fransisca, Pheny and others.

Grandmother; Florence, Dericks, Simon, Billy, Geofrey, Chichi, Tasha, Sylvans, Daisy, Lin, Griffin, Tiffani, Lorine, Barbara, Diane, Tony, Rony and many others. Mother in law to Hellen, Scholastica, Belinda, Mercy, Christine, Beatrice, Hellen peter, Lucy as well as to Thadeus and Michael.

The requiem Mass will be held on 24th/6/21 at St. Marys Andingo Catholic Parish led by Rev. Fr. Antony Oguta Oyamo.

The burial ceremony will be held at her home in Andingo Kakede village on Friday 25th /6/21.

Eternal rest grant to her oh lord and let your perpetual light shine upon her forever Amen. Rest with the angels Nyar Konjro, in our hearts you will live forever
