GEORGE MWANGI

It Is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the death of George Mwangi (Sigona, Kenya and Nottingham (UK) which took place on 27th November 2023 in Nairobi after a short illness.

Beloved son of Regina Nieri Mwangi (Mwahoko and Mukurwe – Mangu).

Lowing husband to Anne Njeri Chege – Mwangi (Sigona) and father to Jayden Muigai, Brianna Njeri and Leah Wanjiru all of St Hannah’s Schools.

Brother to Late Aaron Gathogo and Ruth Wanjiku (UK).

Son-in-law to James and Leah Chege (Kinoo). Brother-in-liaw to Ben and Hellen Kanyora, Duncan and Linda Chege (all of Sigona).

Uncle to Tobias, Evelyn. Ariana. late Lloyd, Peter, Michelle, Jason, Jonathan, Lauren and Trevor. A nephew, cousin, and friend to many from UK.

Family and friends will be meeting at Sigona at 5:00pm. Mwihoko at 6:30pm daily. Meetings at All Saints Cathedral will be held on Friday 1st December and Saturday 2nd December from 5.00pm

There will be a prayer service on Sunday, 3rd December 2023 at Sigona at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 6th December 2023 at 7.30am and proceed for the burial ceremony at Mukurwe in Gatundu, Kiambu.

Revelations 14:13 Blessed are those who die in the Lord, they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them.
