GEORGE ODUOR MAHERO (AKA “ODWORI”)

24.11.1964 – 26.11.2021

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely death of George Oduor Mahero (aka “Odwori”) on 266 November 2021 while at work. Until his death, George was working with Kenya Ports Authority, stationed at the Port of Mombasa.

Husband to Janet Salome Amoth and proud father to Sammy Oduor, Zaddock Wandanje and Japheth Amoth. Loving son to Mr & Mrs Sammy Mahero and son-in-law to Japheth and Jennifer Amoth. Brother to Rachel Olika Kimaya, Patrick Oluyayi Mahero, Japheth Chitee Mahero, Ann Mahero Shirwatho, Hellen Mukolwe Mahero, Zadock Andanje Mahero, Johanas Maloba Mahero, Florence Amwayi and Getrude Mkala Mahero.

Nephew to Dr & Mrs Ernest Okoti Mahero, Mr. Allan Mahero (the late), Mr. & Mrs. Fredrick Jackson Mahero, Ms. Rebecca Mahero, Mr. & Mrs Geoffrey Rakumo Mahero, Andeso Airo (the late), Ronald Mahero, Rose Mahero, Tabitha Bwire, Lillian Muruka and Enos Mahero among many others. He was also a cousin to many.

Brother-in-law to Asian (the late), Dennis Oduor, James Ouma, Maurice Odhiambo, Walter Onyango, Mary Awino, Goretti Ogolla and Pamella Akoth.

Viewing of the body will be done at the Pandya Memorial Hospital Mortuary, Mombasa on Thursday, December 2021 at 07.00am.Thereafter a memorial service will be held at ACK St. Faith Church, Migadini at 8:30am after which, the cortege leaves for Butere for burial on Saturday 11th December 2021.
