GEORGE OMOLLO OKECH

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of George Omollo Okech of International Organization For Migration (IOM), Kenya which occurred on the 22nd November 2020 after a short illness.

Son of the late Jonathan Okech and Mama Joyce Alando. Loving husband to Christine Alouch Okech. Brother of the late Gladys, the late Peter, Luka, Stephen, Fred and the late Esther Anyango. Father of Lillian Okech, Joyce Odula, Linda Okech, Sharon Okech, Jonathan Omollo Okech, Charles Opondo Okech. Son-in-law of Mr Charles Opondo and Cornellia Akoth Opondo. Bother-in- law to Elizabeth, Dorine, Christine, Jackline, David, Late Robinson, Bernard, Henry, Stephen, the late Janet, Rose, Pamella and the late Caroline. Father-in-law of Edward Odula Muok.

Cousin of Henry & the late Phylis Otieno, Jacob & Mary, Sylvester & Mildred, Risper, Florence, Judith, Dr Fred & Lucy Otieno, Dr Nicolas & Christabel, Edwin & Ann, Joseph & Linda Sunday, David, Millicent, Samson, Samwel, Night, Onyango, Grace, Betty and Janet. Nephew of the Late Owino, Uduny, the late Wambura, Benta and the Late Aballa. Uncle of Jacinta, Stephen, Ruth, Brian, Cynthia, Jonathan, Vanessa Okech, Fidel, Byron, Awili, Laura, Eunice, Susan, Churchill, Anastaciah, Fridah, Fred, Dr Juliet, Christine, Vanessa Otieno, Pauline, Beryl, Gerhard, Frank and many others. Grandfather of Chantelle, Chaney, Mark, Joseph and Christine.

There will be a mini harambee on Tuesday December 1, 2020 at All Saints Cathedral at 5.30pm with concurrent virtual fundraising.

Burial will be held on Saturday 5th, December 2020 at his home In Gem Akala, Ndori Location, Wagai Sub- county. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi on 4th December 2020.
