Death and Funeral Announcement of George Wangondu,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing on of George Wangondu, of St Louis, Missouri on the evening of May 1st, 2020 at Mercy Hospital from complications arising from rheumatoid arthritis.

George was born on Christmas Day in 1943 to Githethuki wa Kibui and Wanjiku wa Githethuki and was married to Jane Wanjiru Wangondu for 53 years.

They were blessed with 4 children, Anthony Maina, Joy Wanjiku, David Githaiga and Sammy Gatere, 9 grand-children and 1 great-grand daughter.

George will be laid to rest at Mt Lebanon Cemetery, St Ann, Missouri on Thursday May 7th 2020 at 1 pm CST (9pm EAT) at a private family ceremony.

Due to the current Government restrictions both in Kenya and the USA, we will not have any meetings and a thanks-giving memorial with be held at a later date. Messages of condolences and comfort can be sent to george@wangondu.com
