We announce the demise of Getrude Bukhohe Wafula (Hearing Impared) the former Machakos Secondary School for the Deaf Teacher.

Daughter of Chrisandus Wafula & Romana Ngina Wafula both Directors of Mutoca Survey Consultants – Machakos. Sister of Maureen Nasimiyu of Kenya Airways Mombasa, Marvin Khaemba a student at Kenya School of Law & Michelle Nasambu a student at Loreto Msongari Girls. Sister-in-law of Fred Wafula Owiti (MD of Darka Logistics Company) and aunt of Esther Wafula.

Granddaughter of the late Peter Khaemba & the late Getrude Khaemba and the late Timothy Kitusa & the late Benedeta Kitusa. Nephew of Nafula, the late Charles, Margret, Mr. & Mrs. Maurice, the late Justus, Mr. & Mrs. Walubengo, Mr. & Mrs. Mulwa Kitusa, Mr. & Mrs. Kiithya Kitusa, Mr. & Mrs. John Mulandi, Mr.& Mrs. Mumo Kitusa, among others. Cousin of Mr. & Mrs. Edward, Sammy, Alex, Nzisa, Betty, Syokau, among others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos, at 5.00am, on 13th July, 2021, for Kimilili via JKIA NBO, through KIS Int Airport before proceeding to Kimilili, Bungoma County by road via Maseno Mumias Road, to arrive by 4.00pm.

On 14th July, 2021, we will have a mass and burial at her parents’ home in Kimilili next to Temba Temba Market.
