GIDEON AGUMBA OWUOR

It is with deep regret and sorrow that we announce the passing on of Gideon Agumba Owuor, which occurred on Tuesday, 18th January 2022, while he was undergoing treatment in Hospital.

He was the son of the late Elkanah Owuor Odondi and the Late Susanna Opiyo Owuor. The son-in-law to the late Cyrillus Odek Okumu and the late Josephine Odek. Beloved husband to Rose Amalla Owuor and a doting father to Donald Owuor Agumba, Derrick Otieno Owuor, Cedric Odondi Owuor, Susan Owuor-Masiga, Sheila Anyango Owuor and Georgina Agola Owuor.

Father-in-Law to Caroline Oyula-Otieno, Leah Kinuthia-Owuor and Raymond Masiga. He was a loving grandfather to Keita Owuor, Deon Otieno, Michael Otieno, Regina Owuor, Rosa Owuor, Tina Masiga and Talia Masiga . He was brother to the late George Agola Owuor, sister Dorina Akumu and the late Christine Oyare, brother-in-law to Effie Owuor, Veronica Ogonyo, Mary Omolo, George Odek and others.

Uncle to Margaret Keya, Paul Owuor, Ben ogonyo and others. He was also a generous friend to many.

The burial ceremony will take place at his home in Kanyadhiang Village, Kendu Bay town, Homabay County on Thursday, 3rd February 2022 at 900am.
