Gladys Adino Onyango Oungu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother Mrs. Gladys Adino Onyango Oungu which occurred on Friday 31st January 2020 after a long illness.

Loving wife of Christopher Onyango Oungu of Gem Kambare. Daughter of the late Melchizedec Awino and Teresa Nyaringa. Sister of Debora Ochar, Claris Ogenga, Calvin Odhiambo, the late Hesbon Oginga, the late Edwin Omondi and the late Patrick Handa. Mother of Carolyne Achieng of DCC’s office Kisumu, Seline Amondi of KCB Serem, Christine Oungu of Otieno Yogo & Co. Advocates, Neto Athanas Oungu, David Awino and the late- Beatrice Wasonga. Sister-in-law of Can. Teresa Handa, Miriam Oginga, Emma Odhiambo, Nereah Omondi among others. Cousin of Margaret Muga, Eunice Osare, Martin Nyakune among others. Aunty of Gift Handa, Ceasar Handa, Ben Handa, Seline Handa & Mike Handa. Mother-in-law of Kennedy Akoko Were of National Treasury NRB, Dan Olweny, Victor Akoko and the late Philip Rapeno. Grandmother of Evans, Brian, Collins, Bob, Ruth, Idah, Delight, junior Joy, Gregory, Arnold, Sam, and Roy among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Kisumu Sports Ground & at her home in Gem. There will be a fundraising to offset medical bills and funeral expenses at MM Shah Primary School hall on Wednesday 19th February 2020 from 5.00 p.m. You may offer your support via PESA through mobile No. 0724986240.

The cortege leaves Kisumu District Hospital on 21st Feb.2020 at 11a.m for a church service at her home in Gem Kambare village. She will be laid to rest on Saturday 22nd February 2020 at Mr.Christopher Onyango Oungu’s home in Gem Kambare Village.
