GODFREY CORNELIO OMONDI (CHIEF)

It is with heavy hearts but with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Godfrey Cornelio Omondi, a courageous and valiant soldier in the army of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Godfrey Omondi was: The loving husband of Sarah A. Omondi (Talent Academy). Beloved father to Joyce Omondi Waihiga & Waihiga Mwaura, Daniel Omondi & Pratima Jude Omondi, and Michael Omondi & Mary Wanjiru Omondi.

Son of the late Zedekiah Dann Onyango and Mama Joyce Margaret Onyango. Beloved brother to Rodah Florence Otieno (USA) and Dan Ochieng Onyango (Kisumu). He was also brother to the late Arthur Aggrey Onyango, the late Slessor Adhiambo Oduor, the late Willis Otieno Ochieng and the late Jane Atieno. Brother-in-law to the late John Otieno, Angeline Onyango, Andrew Oduor, Grace Willis Otieno (Geneva) and Catherine Ochieng.

Uncle to Francois (USA), George (USA), Dickson (Rwanda), Richard, Zedekiah, Brian, Nicole, Brenda and Ivanna. A cousin to the Obers, Akallas and the wider Ragwar Family. An in-law to the Luganjes (Rabai, Kilifi), the Mwaure Family, the Christopher Jude Family (India) and the Githathu Njoroge Family (Nairobi & USA).

He was the Chief Accountant and then Accounts Controller at Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), between 1986 to 2008. Omondi loved the Lord and uniquely served him through his generous giving to others.

The funeral service will be held on 17th June, 2021 at CITAM -Valley Road at 10.00am.
