GRACE MUTHONI MAINA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Grace Muthoni Maina, which occurred on Tuesday 16th January, 2024 after battling a long illness.

Beloved daughter of the late Chief Kigwa-ini and the late Janet Wahito. Sister to the late Christopher Mbaca Kigwa-ini and Step-sister to many.

Wife to Mzee Maina Karuoya of Gikomba. Mother to the late Joseph Njoroge, Rispah Wanjikd, Linet Njeri (Gikomba), Gladys Gathoni, Benson Kigwa-ini, Hannah Wanjikd, Nancy Wambdi, Mercy Kurgat (USA), Rahab Maina (Tribe), John Mwenjwa (Hummingbird Tours). Step-mother to Rispah Wanjiku, Stephen Matheri (Yellowman), James Kamau (USA) & Anthony Ndekei.

Mother-in-law to Mwangi Thaka, Gabriel Mucheke, Roseline Wambui Matheri, Edwin Kurgat & Nancy Wambui Ndekei and Herman Mbugua

Great grandmother to Shiku, Natasha, Muthoni, Gabriel, Tavi & Shine. A great-great-grandmother to Angel. She was an aunt to many,

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati on Saturday 27th January, 2024 at 8.00am. Thereafter, the burial service will be held at Gituri Primary School grounds then the burial will follow at her home in Magutu Village, Kigecu-ini, Murang’a County.
