GRACE MUTHONI MWANIKI (MWALIMU)

With the acceptance of Gods will, we announce the death of Sister in Christ Grace Muthoni Mwaniki of Ngangarithi village, Nyeri Municipality, Nyeri County which occurred at Olive Hospital in Nyeri on 16th February, 2022.

She was the daughter to the late Francis Mwangi Gathoundu and the late Mary Waithiegeni Mwangi. She was the loving wife of Mr. Nicholas Mwaniki Wangai of St. Marys Boys Secondary in Nyeri. Awesome mother to Hutchinson Wangai Mwaniki & Joyce Wambui, Francis Mwangi Mwaniki & Philomena Waithera, Samuel Gitonga Mwaniki & Joy Kendi, Rosemary Wanjiru Mwaniki & Peter Mwai, Joseph Muraguri Mwaniki & Emily Wanjiru, and Anthony Wachira Mwaniki.

Daughter-in-law to the late Solomon Wangai Kahando and the late Rose Wanjiru Wangai. Sister to Lydia Wanjiku, Muraguli Mwangi, the late Gladys Wanjiru, the late Isaac Maina, Joseph Kamenju, Beth Wangui, the late Charity Waruguru and Edward Gichinga.

Sister in law to Eunnice mukami wangai, the late Samuel Gitonga & Mary Wagikondi, Miriam Watetu, the late Stephen Ndirangu & Priscillah Muthoni, and Charles Wagura & Ann Wangui.

She was the doting grandmother to Grace Muthoni, Mercy Waithera, Nicholas Mwaniki Maina, Nick Mwaniki Mwangi, Victor Karanja Mwangi, Nicholas Mwaniki Gitonga, Nicholas Mwaniki Wanjiru, Gerald Wangondu Mwai, NeemaWangui Muraguri and Francis Mwaniki Muraguri. Great grandmother to Gyan Kibet. She was an amazing auntie, grandmother, teacher, mentor and nurturer to many.

The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral home in Nyeri on Tuesday, 22nd February, 2022 at 9:00 am and proceed to the church service which will be held at 11:00 am at PCEA Ngangarithi church. Thereafter proceed to her home in Ngangarithi for her final internment same day.
