GRACE WAIRIMU WAIRIA 

29th September 1958 to 27th July 2020

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Grace Wairimu Wairia of Nyeri County on 27th July 2020 after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Elasto Wairia Kariuki and Gladys Mweru Wairia of Kihuri Village Othaya. Mother of Leah Wambui Wairimu (Nyeri PGH). Grandmother of Oscar Kariuki, Grace Wanjiku, Velma Wairimu and many others. Sister of Margaret Muhinyia, the late Mary Mbuki, Stephen Kariuki Wairia (Kates Apartments), Godfrey Gachoki (2NK Sacco), Gerald Wageni (Fairdeal Gikomba) and the late Lucy Muthoni.

Sister in law of Michael Muhinyia, Joseph Mwangi, the late Catherine Wambui, Josephine Wamathwe, Wanjiru Gachoki, Magda Wageni and David Waititu. Auntie of Wambui Gaturu, William Muriithi, Alex Wairia, Erastus Wairia, Godfrey Gitiche. James Kamondo, Elasto Wairia, Patrick Wairia, Newton Mwangi, Nathaniel Karanja, Gladys Wambui, Njiiri Gachoki, Shanice Wambui, Alvin Wairia, Elasto Wairia, Gladys Gichuna, Lydia Wanjiku, Cyrus Kinyua and many others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Friday 31st July 2020 at 7.00 am for the burial ceremony at her home in Kihuri Village, Othaya, Nyeri County.
