GRACE WANJIRU NGUGI

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Grace Wanjiru Ngugi wife to the late Paul Ngugi Murua of Sigona Settlement Scheme.

Daughter of the late Mucau Kirehu (Muchina) and Rahab Ringa of Mahinga. Step daughter of Kabura Mucau (Muchina). Step sister of Kinuthia Mucau, Kamau Mucau, Kariuki Mucau, the Late Waweru Mucau, the Late Njenga Mucai and Wanjiru Muchau. She was a cousin of the Githendus of Marigi and the Gitua’s of Mahinga. She was Mother of Hellen Mbutu, Antony and Jane Karoki, Hezekiah and the Late Sarah Ngugi, Joseph and Eunice Njuguna, Lilian Wanjuhi, David and Rose Muchina, John and Irene Mungai, Monica Mumbi, the Late Lucy Ngendo, Peter Kimani, John and Jeniffer Nganga and Eliud and Millicent Njenga.

Sister-in-law of Sarah Wangari Gichia, (Wangige), Grace Wamuhu Ngige (Kaimba), the Late Peris Wakio (Nga’rua), Peris Njeri Nganga (Muguga) Wanjiku Mburu (Gatuanyaga) and Wambui Ngotho (Kaimba). She was a loving grandmother of Ngugi’s, Wanjiru’s, Chege, Mburu, Wambui and many others. Grace was a doting great grandmother of Joyce, Alexis,  Britany, Ryan, Jack, Daylan and many others.

The cortege leaves P.C.E.A Kikuyu Hospital on Tuesday 1/12/2020 at 9AM for funeral service and burial at her Sigona residence starting at 11AM.

She leaves behind her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We thank all the doctors who have been taking care of our late mum especially Doctor Geoffrey Maganda an entire team.

To God be the Glory for the time he gave Mum to us, now she has found rest with her Maker. Praise be to God
