We regret to announce the death of Hellen Moraa (Mariera) Anunda.

She passed away, surrounded by her family, on 14th November 2020 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA. Loving wife of James Anunda. Devoted mother of Cliff Gisemba, Kathrine Bagaka-Sailey, Eddie Gisemba and James Christopher Anunda Jr. Mother-in-law of Danielle Mabra-Mostella and Oliver Sailey Jr. Doting grandmother of Nowai, Ella, Adam, Moraa, Henry, Fabrice, Mimita, Michael, Mason, among others. The youngest daughter of the late Pastor Sospeter Mariera and the late Bathsheba Mong’ina Mariera. Baby sister of Jerusha Ayienda, Mary Mang’era, Anna Mariera-Hughes, Isaac Mariera, the late David Mariera, and the late Christopher Nyamweya.

Cousin of the Ndeges, niece of Joseph Ndege, the late Obaga, Machoka, Onwonga, Nyachieo, Sabari and others. Beloved daughter-in-law of the late Sospeter Anunda and Rael Kemunto Anunda. Sister-in-law of Peter Anunda, David Anunda, Nyamao Anunda, Tom Anunda, Josephine Anunda, the late Pauline Anunda, Sofia Anunda and Elizabeth Anunda & Ayienda Makoyo, Benson Mang’era, John Hughes, Julie Mariera and Pamela Nyamweya.Aunt of Lilian, Nancy, Janet, Peter Jr., Theresa, Franklin, Janet, Sheila, Daisy, Angela, Vanessa, Moraa, among others.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, 27th November 2020 at 10am at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Concordia Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN., USA
